Our Gardens

Map of the garden

We have included a garden map. The numbers relate to different areas of the garden and plants of special interest are given.

The Garden

The granite and shingle bed is now in full swing, though excessive winter damp still rules the choice of plants. It has been a big success.

In 2007 a 100' trellis in the form of a diamond was built in the Square Garden. Covered in roses and clematis, this promises to be a colourful and beautiful feature.

During 2008 I shall be planting up a new bog garden in a shady and secluded corner of the garden. Here there will be the opportunity for a completely different range of plants. Great fun.
